A nursing home administrator for over 20 years, Jill most recently served as vice president of operations for a chain of ten privately owned rehabilitation facilities in the New York metro area. As the administrator of a prestigious facility, Jill led an award-winning team that earned frequent accolades from the community, state-wide recognitions from NYSHFA, and numerous perfect surveys from the New York State Department of Health.

Before becoming an administrator, she was an RN and Family Nurse Practitioner.  She worked as a Director of Nursing in not for profit as well as for profit facilities, gaining a keen understanding of the philosophies and missions of those facilities she served. She began her career in health care as a volunteer candy striper during high school. 

 

Throughout her career Jill has always advocated for a culture of kindness and compassion in interactions with residents and their families. Driven by a philosophy of innovation, Jill prizes forward-thinking approaches to patient care and services. She is a champion for the direct care staff, conceiving, developing, and implementing ways to improve and sustain staff morale.  She is an enthusiastic motivator and a powerful speaker and educator. 

 

Jill is the proud mother of two grown sons and lives with her husband, Josh.  She enjoys canoeing and kayaking, and contemplating life with her bulldog, Tinker bell.
